JoMar Acres is a place where a family of four lives our story, learning how to steward our many blessings.
This isn’t a story about how we are trying to “go green” or live “sustainably”. It isn’t even how we are learning to live responsibly. To us, living stewarded lives is about using our gifts wisely. But more than that, the first response of genuine stewarship is a thankful heart. A good steward marvels first and preserves, invests, creates, moves, second.
As any parent will tell you, it is easy to marvel when you have children. They are daily delighted by the ordinary. As we teach them to be good stewards we learn ourselves a new appreciation for the grace that surrounds us. It is my impulse to keep these sacred moments to myself. But in keeping with the idea of stewardship, I believe it is wise to share them with you and to preserve a memory for our children of the community they help to inspire.
Hello Cuzins!
It’s nice to know that the house is being well-loved. Lord knows she needs it!
I just wanted to drop you a line, and say Hi!
Love ya.
Thanks for stopping by to see us. In a few days we will start posting pictures of the parts of the house that are finished.
